ITI «BIOTEKHNICA» NAAS
The Engineering and Technological Institute «Biotekhnica» of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (ITI «Biotechnica» NAAS) is the only scientific institution in Ukraine conducting comprehensive research on the creation, production, and application of biological plant protection products.
Primary Areas of Activity
- creation of effective microbial preparations for plant protection based on fungal and bacterial cultures;
- creation of effective entomological preparations for plant protection based on predatory insects;
- development of technologies for laboratory and industrial production of microbial preparations for plant protection;
- development of technologies for mass rearing of predatory insects;
- creation of technological equipment for the production of microbial and entomological preparations with a modern level of process automation;
- research on the biological effectiveness of preparations in laboratory and field conditions.
